The Shimano Hyperglide + cassettes have set new standards in off-road use with their smooth upshifts and downshifts across the entire range of gears. For the Ultegra 8100 group, the Japanese have also adopted this technology for racing bikes. Even with the greatest effort on climbs or when sprinting to the finish line, you can now shift gears without hesitation. This is made possible, among other things, by longer teeth. Despite the new design and the additional 12th sprocket, the CS-R8100 cassettes are compatible with previous 11-speed Road freehub bodies.
